Wow, I've never had anything as exciting as that happen to me at the pictures. I was once hit over the head by a glass bottle flung by some unseen assassin a few rows behind me, that was at a screening of
Innerspace, and some guy sitting in front of me was handcuffed and arrested by cops during
True Lies.
The cinema is overrated I think, too many screenings are ruined by eejits intent on
not watching the film and sloppy careless operators showing bad projections and sound pushed into the red levels (
Mullholland Drive shown in the wrong ratio, all vertically stretched, a reel of
Fight Club dubbed in French). Much less distracting to sit down at home I think...
