In my opinion
Virtual XI was Maiden's best album since
Seventh Son, until
Brave New World and the return of Bruce.
Whilst
No Prayer,
Fear and
X Factor had some strong songs, they also had a fair few throwaways.I felt
XI held together more cohesively as an entire album.
Unfortunately it ties with
Dance of Death as the worst artwork.
