It's like with metal; there are so many apparent sub-genres, and a lot of them seem almost made up and sound the same to me. I couldn't pinpoint what is generally considered a doom/stoner/grind/black/sludge metal artist. If it's something I like then I'll listen. Simple. Classification just isn't my thing.

I know music fans can often get quite snobby and precious about these sort of things though, and by saying this, I probably already have a metaphorical bullseye on my back.
Not from me. It won't fit, your back is too covered in film bullseye's due to your dodgy tastes.
