Well I have bought and watched a copy of this for myself. Summing up it is 1080i and is obviously from an older source as the picture is soft in places. However, it still has its moments, there is grain on view and overall it really a pretty pleasing presentation despite the source. Picture is bright, clarity is very good at times, and this grungy film really comes to life in Hi def. In fact the old Rat/Bat has never looked better basically. While the sound is not Lossless, the English DD 5.1 is surprisingly effective and separates nicely across all channels with no distortion. I paid £6 for this and frankly I think I got a deal.
