Picture is bright, clarity is very good at times, and this grungy film really comes to life in Hi def. In fact the old Rat/Bat has never looked better basically. While the sound is not Lossless, the English DD 5.1 is surprisingly effective and separates nicely across all channels with no distortion. I paid £6 for this and frankly I think I got a deal.

I think you did get a good deal with that one! I can only find it for 19 euros now. which is a bummer as I'd love it on blu... Hardly the best King adaptation but one of my favourites! Did you buy it from amazon.fr?

Good idea for a thread by the way!
