Blood And Roses
I've always wanted to see this one and it was certainly worth the wait. Beautifully photographed and saturated with colours, this longer cut of this classic Carmilla vampire movie is essential viewing. If it was ever released on Blu-ray ( and why not? ) it would look stunning. As it is, this lovely looking German dvd is the business. Highly recommended.

In the wrong hands, this could have been a bit of a dud, but as we all know, it's one of the most entertaining UK horrors of the 70s. The BD from Severin is region free and looks amazing.
