Nemesis (1992)
A bullet strewn nineties sci-fi actioner, which was possibly an influence on
The Matrix due to its huge orgies of gunfire spewing, over the top, action sequences. Quite brutal at times, the action is pretty relentless with just enough time for the story to develop before more shit is blown up.
The film has a glittery cast of D-grade stars of the time - Olivier Gruner, Brion James, Tim Thomerson and former
Dallas babe Deborah Shelton, and is a diverting, violent and above all, fun way, to spend an hour and a half.
Nemesis even breaks into my Cult Labs Favourite Sci-Fi Film 2014 list at number 98.
