Is it well regarded? I saw it in March this year and felt it was very derivative of Carpenter's Halloween. Am i missing something?
Here's my small review from then. |
I genuinely couldn't comment as I haven't seen it. But it's one of those films I've heard so much about, but never gotten around to. I hear the plot literally is Halloween, but I've also heard it's one of those fun movies that could only exist in the 80s, which is enough for me to take an interest in it. As a big fan of slasher cinema it's one of an ever decreasing number of slashers I have never seen, so I'm really excited to check it out for that reason mostly.
I'm not expecting it to surpass the likes of House On Sorority Row, or The Initiation, but if it's as entertaining as some of the Slumber Party Massacre sequels I should have fun. My bar is not very high at all, is it?
