I've got no intention of
ever catching the original
BF let alone a sequel and i refuse to acknowledge the first film as some kind of groundbreaking gore epic that paved the way for others to follow.
I really dunno why i just seem to hold some serious reservations about
BF and it's reputation amongst horror fans. No offence to anybody here, of course!
I must admit though i do like Rick's design for Arrow's
BF2 DVD.
To be honest, i'm generally not a fan of '60s horror unless it's of the Italian gothic variety or
NOTLD. The Hammer and Amicus stuff certainly held it's own but again while i respect the trail blazed by the former company most of the output by these two outfits (among others) isn't really my bag, i'm afraid.
However, i do enjoy
Dr.Terror's House Of Horrors. Especially the Christopher Lee segment. A great laugh with typically great performances from Lee and Michael Gough.
