Hollywood was already getting heavy flack for their "amoral" films by then and the
Hays Code was already in effect (though it would take till 1934 before it was strictly enforced). Could the English version of Dracula have been censored by the studio?
That would maybe explain some missing scenes involving what happened to Lucy for instance....
