The Horseman (2008)
Whilst i can't really make a case for The Horseman being my favourite Aussie film it's probably my fave Aussie revenge flick. At times very brutal it's a throwback to the exploiters of the 70's.
The story is a familiar one. - A guy out for revenge when he finds his murdered daughter was killed whilst drugged out and forced to star in a porn movie. However despite the seen it all before main plot it's all done with conviction in that distinct Australian style that allows films from that country to stand out from their Hollywood counterparts.
