THE GHOUL
Boris Karloff stars as the titular ghoul in this b+w blu ray from Network.
Poorly directed and badly acted, the whole thing looks like an amateur stage play at times.
I'm a big fan of Karloff, but even he can't save this one.
Being the UK's first ever talkie horror movie, it is an historically important film. Unfortunately, it's not a very good one.
DON'T GO IN THE WOODS....ALONE!
The second in my Crap Double Bill is this bloody awful slasher, featuring lots of unlikeable people being murdered by some bloke in a furry suit and some beads, for no apparent reason. Dreadful.
