Someone just reminded me of this.
I used to watch The Towering Inferno a lot as a child. It was either on tv a lot back then or must have been a fave of my folks.
When it's seen uncut even today it's still quite strong stuff in places. There's a lot of early characterization and far too many famous faces to mention. Some of them die quite horribly. Perhaps not graphically but emotionally nasty.
