When I went to see Legend (which left me surprisingly cold), it was preceded by trailers and, unusually, I wanted to see all of the films.

Sicario

Suffragette

Macbeth

The Walk

The only one of the four which I was slightly unsure about was The Walk, and that's only because Man on Wire, the documentary about Philippe Petit and his extraordinary walk between the two towers of the World Trade Center, is such a brilliant piece of filmmaking that I'm not sure the dramatised film with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (the main role) can live up to it, or if it is going to be designed to be a showcase for 3-D land use that technology to emphasise how high up he was.

Suffragette hasn't had great reviews, but it's an important story and it has an impressive cast, so I'm going to do my best to see it similar. Macbeth looks stunning and Michael Fassbender is one of the rare actors who never seems to have an off day.
