I had the Alpha version with that artwork as it's cover and then upgraded to the recent Retromedia release. It has some lovely Gothic sequences especially in long shot of the girls walk past the castle.
I thought it was okay - the gothic ambiance and settings did help to boost my enjoyment a bit, but as I'm finding with a lot of Alberto De Martino's films, whilst the ingredients are all there they never seem to come together in a way that ultimately satisfies, and whilst I've enjoyed to some extent what I've seen from him so far I've always been left with the feeling that there's always room for improvement.

Incidentally, it was actually some of the gothic scenes I stumbled across whilst doing a related search which led me to want to seek it out:
