As for Calvaire, whilst I quite liked it it isn't a patch on some of the other New Wave French-Extreme from the same era (even though it's Belgian but I'm lumping them together here as the language is French and they are definitely cut from the same cloth).

Despite being a massive rip-off of
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I liked
Frontieres. Considering how well Marine Le Pen was doing up until today in French politics, there is some relevance in
Frontieres themes. However, that's all I will say on the subject as I may already be breaking the "No Politics" rule.
