The Martian - A really enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours. I had a smile on my face for the entire running time, just fantastic fun, not what I was expecting at all. I was expecting something a bit po-faced, a film that took itself too seriously. While the film was full of pop-science, it was also very funny. Matt Damon carried the film wonderfully helped by an exceptional cast.
Ridley's best film for some time.
