I know what you mean, Justin. I recall enjoying films like
Single White Female and
The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, but i haven't seen them since the days of vhs rental. They are far scarier affairs than many of the horrors i've seen listed under the subject, but as i haven't seen them in what must be 20 years it's difficult to chart them in my opinion.
Poison Ivy starring Drew Barrymore, that was a good one, though not an invasion in the strictest sense as she was invited. I do have a box set of those films.
