Its not, Nos. Its a miss-mash of ideas that goes off like a damp sqiub. There's a fascinating section on it on the Cannon films documentary. I think they saw Blue Lagoon and thought that all they needed was Brooke Shields front and centre and they would have am immediate hit on their hands. Unfortunately things didn't turn out that way.
