Since the topic got announced I've managed to watch Curse and Company of Wolves. Not overly impressed with the former. Loved the latter even if I'm not sure what the heck was going on. |
Glad you enjoyed
Company, J. At its core there is an allegory of a young girl's journey into womanhood, which riffs off of the Red Riding Hood tale - most of the men of course who are privy to her slide into sexual maturity being portrayed as salacious wolves.
I've also watched a couple of new to me wolfy films this past week thanks to the topic.
Firstly, I plugged another gap in my Naschy Waldemar Daninsky watch-list with
The Fury of the Wolf Man (La furia del Hombre Lobo), which is certainly nowhere near as good as some of Naschy's more well known werewolf films but fairly entertaining nonetheless.
Then I checked out 1972 TV Movie
Moon of the Wolf which deals with a Louisiana Sheriff who after trying to investigate a series of strange murders starts to come around to the conclusion that they may have been committed by a werewolf.
