Holy Haberdashery Batman!
I've been watching a few episodes from my new
Batman (1966) BD set. Firstly it looks fantastic, and secondly having not seen any Batman since I was a kid I'm surprised at how good it is. Maybe I'm enjoying it so much not for the nostalgia of it but because of how incredibly camp it is. Robin/Dick is my my favourite character he gets all the best lines and Burt delivers them with such conviction you can't help but laugh!
I also love the narrator, and as soon as I heard his voice I realised that one of my favourite sound samples on White Zombie's album 'La Sexorcisto' was from Batman! Pretty much the all the rest of them are from Russ Meyer and George Romero so they're all still great
