88 are doing sterling work but stick to films you can put out in uncut versions. Most cult film collectors I know want full versions, nearly every release the question is asked ad infinitum by fan after fan, Is it Uncut? Censored films hurt sales and reputation. There are plenty of films out there that would sail past our censorship board now, concentrate on them.  [/I] |
As one of those people who doesn't need to see "some poor defenceless animal killed for my viewing pleasure", I feel some of those cannibal films were better without the animal violence, but also don't insinuate I am any more evolved, decent, or better in any other way, than someone who would rather see them in the the regional, uncut, versions.
In the end, it's personal preference, and not watching animals being tortured and killed for entertainment is my preference.
