Just two episodes of UFO to go.

As it was clunkily released originally with eight cases inside two cardboard boxes i haven't been flying through, just watching three or four episodes at a time. However with the second set i've raced through the last two discs as the series became really impressive and action packed.

As a fore runner for Space 1999, UFO has been pretty good although some of the first episodes could have been better as it all seemed quite talky to say it's about a secret organization defending the earth from alien invasion.

Where the series does excel is in it's model work and special effects. It is all model work but it looks so realistic. Be it in space, underwater or on land it really is something else and makes todays CGI movies pale in comparison.

A splendid series... and i haven't even mentioned the fetishistic nature of the costumes.
