 hmv online cannot pull from the stores
I just got off the phone with hmv.com customer service. They told me that hmv.com and the brick-and-mortar stores are actually separate companies, operating under the same banner, and do not share anything except the brand name. (In fact, he used the word "misleading".) So they cannot pull stock off the shelves to fulfill online orders.
Some of you may have known that already, but it was news to me.
Good thing more are being made in that Chinese sweatshop...
