I don't know if it's just because this week is a half term holiday, but for local Cineworld is down to two showings as the latest
Pirates of the Caribbean film seems to have half the showings available in a given day and other screens showing things like
Diary of a Wimpy Kid,
King Arthur,
Wonder Woman and
Baywatch, the last two which I hoped to see but haven't found time yet; maybe next week.
Alien: Covenant is still showing next week, so it isn't disappearing without a trace and shows there is demand in the cinemas for a film, although it is part of a franchise, for those who are intellectually curious and don't just want to watch Johnny Depp phone in a pantomime performance for 2 1/2 hours.
