Baywatch Season 6 -
Trapped Beneath the Sea (1995)
A two part thrill ride opening to the sixth season with a second episode which was pure adrenaline fueled rescue action from start to finish as some young people became trapped on an abandoned offshore oil platform. Attempting a rescue life guards Neely (Gina Lee Nolin) and newboy, Cody, (David Chokachi) also become trapped as a once submerged mine explodes and sinks the platform.
Wow! What a stunner my introduction to
Baywatch was. I'm not expecting every story line to be this good but i'm certainly hooked. Sure there's an abundance of slow motion running featuring bouncing breasts and rippling torsos, although not during the second episode i might add, but it's all part of the fun.
Whilst the shots of the rig collapsing into the water left something to be desired, the underwater filming and cinematography was excellent. In fact it was all a hell of a lot better than i was expecting. All in all
Trapped Beneath the Sea was an action packed, fun filled, 80 minutes that i really enjoyed.
