grow out' of loving Metal, once you love it you always love it, but as you grow up, like bleakshaun just said, you learn to appreciate more styles and don't label yourself as liking just one thing. However, identifying as a
metalhead in your teens is a great way to not feel lonely and odd and instead feel like your part of something - at least it did for me!
