The Supergrass (1985, Peter Richardson)
The Comic Strip's first film. Uneven and somewhat flat I always found. Possibly it's the emphasis of plot over humor? Which is the kiss of death in a comedy imo. There are flashes .... but it was endemic in the 80s here. Stiff, lifeless worthy pieces playing to the braying classes and .... not much else. A lack of confidence imo.
I digress.
