Great to see this again on the big screen. The scenes at Devil's Tower when the Mothership appears looked just awesome.
My only disappointment was that this was not the 1977 theatrical version but the 'Collectors Edition' cut.
The film was preceded by a featurette.
Released on Blu ray in a few weeks time. |
My Dad took me on a 70 mile round trip to see this in London on it's initial release. I still remember how good the ending looked and sounded in a big cinema compared to our small local one. We did the same thing with Star Wars too.
