Planet Rock on Facebook asked what the greatest guitar solo of all time was this morning, that was the solo I said. The studio version on The Wall is great, but the PULSE version is 4 1/2 minutes of perfection
It’s one of my favourite solos to play, much better than anything by fretwankers like Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani IMO
