The Conjuring 2. A little girl becomes the centre of a terrifying haunting in an ordinary English suburb in the 70s in the sequel to the original hit. My opinion of this is pretty much the same as when I saw it at the cinema last year - generally very good, some extremely frightening scenes especially in the first half, great performances, but it's a little too long (at 2hrs 15 it's a good 20 minutes longer than the original, which seems excessive), with a couple of silly bits (and am I really the only one who finds the nun more daft than scary? The old man is scarier!) and the climax veers on being so OTT it comes dangerously close to losing my interest. Still, like I said, generally very enjoyable, even if I do still prefer the original and probably Annabelle Creation too.
