That was something I obviously missed and will probably see when I watch the second time. I guess I didn't notice because I was expecting a speaking part similar to the first and other recent MCU movies and was surprised when there wasn't one.
As for the other films, I was more referring to the recent MCU ones (Iron Man onwards) rather than films from several decades ago (I know he's appeared in animated films during the 1990s), but thanks for the info anyway. I did read he had been unwell with pneumonia, so perhaps wasn't well enough to do a full day's shooting after the teaser trailer had been completed; he's well enough to do short videos to fans on Twitter at the moment, so it seems he's nearly back to full health.
