There's a highly entertaining 2013 Australian/Canadian children's cartoon series which is currently being shown on the Pop Max television channel, called 'SHeZow'
The basic premise concerns a 12 year old boy, Guy Hamdon, who inadvertently puts on a ring which used to belong to his late Aunt Agnes. The problem is, it's actually a 'ring of power' that should only be worn by females as it turns the wearer into the superheroine SheZow whenever the phrase 'you go, girl' is uttered, resulting in super strength, speed, agility, empathy, a sonic scream, an arsenal of crime-fighting gadgets, and...a pink female superhero costume, complete with mascara, long pink-highlight hair, high heeled go-go boots, and mini-dress
52 episodes of the cartoon were made, each one lasting about 15 minutes, and they follow the classic plot of superhero vs. supervillain including Big Chow Slim, Cold Finger, Manny Ken, Moctopus and members of S.I.C.K (the Society of Incredibly Callous Kriminals)
Lots of girly puns: The Beautility belt; 'That's she-mazing'; 'That's she-rrific!'; 'This is un-she-lievable!'; 'Quickly she-scape while you can'
It also has a great kickin' theme song
