Because I followed it with It's a Wonderful Life, I had a double bill of Christmas films from the 1940s involving an unconventional Angel!
I loved The Bishop's Wife. Really pleased it arrived in time to watch this evening. A lovely film.

The ice skating scene was a hoot though. It was so obviously not Cary Grant. It looked like a fella with a mask over his eyes.

Definitely a great addition to my Christmas film collection.
