Interesting to note that late 70's batman was still seemingly based on the 60's TV version at this point, with the same pants/utility belt get up.
I do wonder if anything can be truly iconic these days when everything has such a fast turnaround.
If you think about it there was a good 20 years between the TV and Burton Batman's.
These days it's Spiderman of the week.
