The full film can be streamed on amazon prime, it's good for sure but seems little more than a 90 minute advert for Wacken Open Air. Anvil playing Metal on Metal to a rapt crowd on the second stage, while good and all sorts of heartwarming, actually just reminded me of Spinal Tap  Nice clip of Motorhead though and crowd chanting Lemmy, Lemmy Lemmy at the end of the song  |
Anvil are pretty bad lets be honest the lyrics are really lame and they just dont have a great guitar sound. Some of the new live videos are really hard to watch i have nothing but respect for them after everything they went through but that can only carry you so far their passion for metal is fantastic love that but they sound terrible live. Maybe a second guitarist may help flesh it out a bit but lips solos are really grating on the ear sometimes.
