16 Blocks (2006)
Bruce Willis does a less road trippy version of Clint's Gauntlet as a cop who escorts witness Mos Def across 16 New York blocks to his court house hearing where he'll testify against other cops led by David Morse, who naturally go all out to stop him. Of course, a bus plays a big part in this movie.
I actually prefer this to The Gauntlet as this doesn't co-star Sondra Locke and Mos Def's Eddie is kinda endearing. Lethal Weapon director Richard Donner ramps up the tension the longer the film goes on and all in all 16 Blocks is a satisfying little thriller.
