Films i'd Love to see on a Big Screen
I'd love to sample the atmosphere of an old American drive-in cinema so for this i think George Lucas'
American Graffiti. Or going down the horror route at the same drive-in i'll say
Zombie Flesh Eaters.
There are one or two old favourites i've not seen in a cinema.
Casablanca for one. I also think
The Wolf Man (1941) would look great on a big screen as would Hammer efforts like
Horror of Dracula,
The Devil Rides Out and
Taste the Blood of Dracula.
For sheer spectacle then something like
Easy Rider or
The Searchers for their photography of America, then perhaps
Ben Hur* (1959) - I feel it would be quite special to see something filmed in 2.76:1 on a proper big screen.
