Thanks to everyone who contributed a list of their favourite films from 1999. It was a great year for film and led to many varied and interesting selections.
This week's topic is a simple one:
Obviously, this means Tim Burton's
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is not a remake of
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and
Bram Stoker's Dracula is not a remake of Tod Browning's
Dracula as they are different adaptations of the same book. A remake is where the film is made using a previous film as that source material to create a new version of that film.
