not let up. A bored driver picks up a stranger by the roadside. Entering a world of pain in doing so.
Hauer has a lot of fun here. As semi supernatural beings go, it's the most hard-boiled (until Walken in The Prophecy) representation in memory.
Jennifer Jason Leigh makes her mark as befits her stature. And do I spot a Ferengi? (RIP). Cough.
