Me too, I love the gore in
City but what I really like is the atmosphere generated throughout the film especially in the underground crypt scenes towards the end.It's more effective for me than the ending of Fulci's
The Beyond.The score for CotLD is a cracker as well, although the main theme is slightly reminiscent of
Zombi 2.All in all though it's Fulci's best horror movie for me.
