The first inductees in the 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame have been announced
Batista, who was a 6 time world champion (holding the record for the longest reign as World Heavyweight Champion at 282 days) and a 4 time World Tag Team Championship (twice with Ric Flair, once with John Cena and once with Rey Mysterio). Away from the squared circle, he has appeared in a number of films, including 'The Man with the Iron Fists' (2012), 'Riddick' (2013), 'Spectre' (2015), 'Guardians of the Galaxy' (2014), 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' (2017), 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018) and 'Avengers: Endgame' (2019)
The
nWo [New World Order], consisting of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman are to be the group induction. They were one of the most influential forces in the mid-to-late 1990s success of WCW, and were instrumental in turning mainstream North American professional wrestling back into a more mature, adult-oriented product. They were also the main driving forces behind WCW beating the WWF in the Monday Night Wars.
This will be the second entry for all members - Hogan was inducted in 2005, Hall (under the Razor Ramon pseudonym) in 2014, Nash in 2015, and Waltman (as X-Pac) as a member of De-Generation X in 2019
