Hopefully one day Nos will do a topic where we can go with films like Raiders, Adele Blanc- Sec, Brendan Fraser's Mummy, National Treasure and so on.
God knows what the title subject would be though.
Easier might be a list of jet setter / Globe trotting films - Films that take place in multiple countries - Bonds, Bourne's M:I's. Even stuff like Euro Trip and some Jess Franco films would fit, Harry Alan Towers movies too. They went all over the place in sixties spy spoofs and rip offs like Deadlier Than the Male. |
I also really like the film but don't consider it to be one which is set in Paris because, as you said, it is about a travel writer who goes to multiple locations. I know most of the film takes place in Paris but want to concentrate on films which are set entirely in the city.
In answer to your overall point about a possible topic, maybe one about adventurers, explorers, and discoverers would include Adèle Blanc-Sec, Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Tomb Raider, Sahara, The New World and many others.
