The topic for this week should have been done as close to April 23 as possible to commemorate Shakespeare's birthday but I clean forgot!
There have been many films influenced by Shakespeare's writing, either faithful adaptations or loosely inspired by the Bard's plays, with directors from Orson Welles to Akira Kurosawa, Kenneth Branagh to Roman Polanski making films based on his work. Additionally, there are films about his life which could be included.
