I agree, the crusade to simplify things has just made everything harder. Why not make the orange, pink and red shades all a bit more different!
I mean it doesn't entirely matter because I'm more than old enough to buy all of the discs
but at least you could distinguish a 15 and an 18 with the old ones.
I do think myself lucky that we don't have the 2 inch square German logos
