The one flaw on my first playthrough is the vocals get a little low from time to time. The songs never feel long because there is so much going on in each track. Fenriz and Nocturno always talk about 70s and 80s hard rock and metal and this is a true homage to that time and it hard to believe you are listening to an album from 2021 and not the 70s / 80s.

Darkthrone are my favourite band as is well documented and over the years they have changed so much but always stayed true to themselves and thats why i love them so much saying that i do not allow my love of the band cloud my judgement and do my best not to be bias when giving my opinions on their albums. So saying all that i can honestly say this album is phenomenal seriously its a journey a beautiful heavy journey of doom the artwork suits the mood atmosphere and feeling of the whole album. The final track Lost Arcane City of Uppåkra is definitely my favourite track its a work of art.
Pity you don't like Arctic Thunder though.

I hear you though. Love what you've said about the new record.

I'm above my allowance for spending this month but as soon as the month rolls over on Sunday night (the 4th) then this will be ordered.. same goes for that new Mayhem seven tracker.
