July 6th, 1967 - 54 years ago today, Pink Floyd made their first appearance on the BBC TV music show 'Top Of The Pops', promoting their new single 'See Emily Play'. A badly damaged home video recording was recovered by the British Film Institute (BFI) of this show and given a public screening in London on 9th January 2010 at an event called 'Missing - Believed Wipe' devoted to recovered TV shows. It was the first time this footage was seen since its original broadcast
