The results from the 2022 Royal Rumble PPV. For some reason, this was held on a Saturday instead of the usual Sunday
SPOILER:

Notes:
- Mickie James came out with the Impact Knockouts Championship and was identified on screen as such
- There were two celebrity entrants in the men's event - Johnny Knoxville and Bad Bunny
- Kofi tried for one of his classic Royal Rumble moments to avoid elimination but his feet hit the ground before he managed to grab onto the ring barricade
- Overall the event was a disappointment. The opening match was rated as the best of the evening, while the Woman's Royal Rumble match was described as being "probably the worst women's Rumble since the start of holding the matches, with too many women who aren't used to working together all getting stuck in the match and slowing things down" while the Men's Royal Rumble match was described as being "easily among the five worst all-time, if not lower. The match dragged badly and the crowd was lost because of it - and further lost when Kofi's big spot went wrong. And Shane McMahon and Bad Bunny in the final five is just the wrong call beyond any doubt"
The next PPV that is due to be held is the 12th Elimination Chamber event. However, for obvious reasons, this has been re-titled No Escape in Germany. This is due to take place on Saturday, February 19, at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This means it will the first Elimination Chamber event to take place outside of the United States which adds credence to the suggestion that we are going to get a major WWE PPV held in the UK sometime this year
