Imo the French cover is the weakest of all the four
COTLD designs and i've never been too enamoured with this artwork.
I just feel there's nothing really interesting about it. Rick's contribution is pretty good (obviously inspired by the original
NOTLD British cinema poster.) but it's the remaining two traditional illustrations that do it for me. Especially panel 3 with the gradual rise of the Charles Hamm zombie from his grave. Great stuff!
