Day 1 results [Attendance: 77,899] SPOILER: - In the opening SmackDown Tag Team Championship match, Jimmy and Jay Uso defeated Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs via pinfall to retain the titles. However, Boggs suffered a legitimate injury when he tore his quad-patellar tendon in his leg which resulted in a rushed ending to the match. Apparently he is due to undergo surgery in the coming days to repair the injury
- Drew McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin (with Madcap Moss) via pinfall in a standard singles match. After the bout, McIntyre swung his sword at Moss and managed to cut through the two top ropes of the ring!
- In a tag-team match, The Miz and Logan Paul defeated Rey and Dominick Mysterios via pinfall
- In the WWE RAW Womens Championship match, Bianca Belair defeated Becky Lynch via pinfall to gain the title
- The returning Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall in a standard singles match. Unexpectedly, Rhodes, who hasn't wrestled for the WWE since May 2016 received probably the second loudest pop of the event on his entrance
- In the WWE SmackDown Womens Chalpionship, Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey via pinfall to retain the title
- In the most anticipated match of the last 20 years, and WrestleMania 38's worst kept secret, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin defeated Kevin Owens in a 'No Holds Barred' match. It wasn't the best fight either man has ever had, but as a 'special moment' it was incredible. We just need to wait and see what the future holds for Stone Cold now!
